Youth Training
We select and train young youth leaders starting from 13 years old, to prepare them as future leaders at our camps. Before every camp, we hold three days of training for the leaders, guiding them through our programs and specialised acitivites, where they learn leadership and counselling skills to support vulnerable children. Preparing for the future is crucial for every organization.
Volunteers
About 60 South African volunteer youth leaders attend our camps each year, as well as assist in our Hope Clubs in 14 primary and high schools. Some help in our after school programmes at the Litsemba Centre by providing homework support to the children in the feeding scheme. They do bible studies as well as give the children individual attention.
