Hope Clubs
Hope Clubs are a vital initiative run by Mamkhulu.org, aimed at supporting orphans and vulnerable children in the Daantjie and Msogwaba regions. Currently, there are 14 Hope Clubs operating at local schools, where dedicated youth volunteers spend one or two days a week training children in soccer, offering counselling, and organizing engaging activities and games. These clubs provide a safe and supportive environment for children who often face challenging circumstances, allowing them to develop skills, build confidence, and form meaningful connections.
Hope Camps
Hope Camps are run four times per year at Ekukhanyeni Retreat Centre. These camps provide psychosocial support for orphans, vulnerable children and youth.
Youth Leader Development
Leadership development for youth takes place on a regular basis but more especially before camps. Hope Club leaders are trained to run programs in schools and are selected for their leadership skills to run the Hope Camps.
Brothers for Life
Brothers for Life has borne much fruit through a soccer program and life skills training. We look forward to re-birthing this program in 2025 with more funding.
Programs for Girls
We provide specialized training programs focusing on job skills and interview preparation, empowering young individuals to secure employment opportunities and become self-sufficient.
After School Programs
Mamkhulu Org provides a safe place for children after school where they can play, enjoy a substantial meal and find assistance with homework.
